CONTRASTIVE REPRESENTATION OF CHARACTERS THROUGH THE CONTRASTIVE IMAGE OF THEIR CLOTHES IN THE NOVEL "ANNA KARENINA" BY LEO TOLSTOY

چکیده

The purpose of this article is to study the descriptions clothes various opposing characters in novel "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy. object lexemes used Tolstoy for describing outfits heroes. subject research ways conveying characters’ contrasts using as an important artistic detail. This based on Anna’s and other “Anna Karenina” novel. As a result study, author comes following conclusions. Anna's are marked with ordinary always background, being only frame heroine. In contrast Anna, foreground. emphasizes that they dressed according “extreme fashion”, uses foreign origin description their clothes. simplicity naturalness pretentiousness complexity emphasized.
